We're headlining this year. An all day affair with food, and open to all ages.
Well, it's gonna be another long night for us , this time in Columbus, GA. 3 sets of whatever we might have up our sleeves that night.
The goal? To collectively sweat off the body weight of that little fella that sings for Journey these days.
Well, I guess we're just gonna take the joint over this time, and do a whole night of whatever the hell we feel like getting into. Feel free to sing along, and hopefully we'll have a guest or two sit in for a song or three.
Oh yeah, and it's FREE. 3+ hours of our patented brand of nonsense for ZERO dollars. can't cut you a break on beers, but if you buy us a round, we'll at least pretend to be your friend for a minimum of 30 minutes(or until our glass is empty).
See you there.
We're stripping down a couple of hours worth of material, and doing a full band acoustic show....probably throwing a few curve balls at this one. See you there.
w/This Modern Station & Mike Mason.
We kick this one off, opening for Miggs and Alternate Routes.
$8 ADV / $10 DOS; 7 P.M. doors / 8 P.M. show
We're taking over the upstairs Speakeasy room for a couple of hours. LOVE this place!!! BEER! Music. Pizza...what more could you want?
Megan O'Neill will lead the charge, followed by those dappers lads in The Decadence, us(The Great Affairs) in the proverbial sweet spot, followed by former Vallejo man Zach Baker. We'll be celebrating our friend Allison's second sweet sixteen, but all she wants are packs of D'Addario .10 and .11 gauge Nickel wound XL guitar strings, that she insists you give to us for safekeeping, so there's your shopping list, if you wanna keep the lady happy.
18 & up.
Last time I played here, I had to stop the show and (almost) start a fight. Let's try and lighten up a bit this time. It'll be way too cold to "step outside".
It's my buddy Joey's birthday celebration, so I'm gonna rush straight from the studio that afternoon, to this Tex-mex joint in Murfreesboro, where I'll set up and play a couple of hours-worth of whatever the Bday boy wants to hear....that I know, of course.
Ages 18+ / The Melismatics formed at the turn of the century in the fertile ground of the Minneapolis indie-rock scene. Their debut album “Postmodern Rock” quickly caught the attention of college radio stations around the country and garnered favorable reviews from critics around the world. Shortly thereafter, Minneapolis indie-rock king pin Ed Ackerson (Motion City Sountrack, The Replacements, The Jayhawks) signed the band to Susstones Records and produced their next two albums “New Infection” and “Turn It On”.
The Melismatics toured the country numerous times over and continued to win loyal fans with their high-energy and unpredictable live shows. Their music has been featured on MTV’s “The Hills,” “The City”and “Laguna Beach,” NBC’s “Windfall”; Animal Planet’s “Jockeys” and they’ve played such notable events as Lollapalooza, Summerfest, and CMJ.
The Melismatics released “The Acid Test” on CC Entertainment/E1 Music (2008). Renowned producer John Fields (Jimmy Eat World, Rooney, Har Mar Superstar, etc) caught the band performing at 2007 SXSW in Austin, Texas and signed on to produce the album. The music video for “Digging Deep” charted at #4 on MTVU and received widespread airplay.

We've got a new EP to drop on the public, 7 songs we call '4', and we're stacking the bill with our buddies The East Side Gamblers, D. Ryan, and one more TBA, so we can do this in style. Spread the word, and commence whatever conditioning rituals you'll need to engage in to maintain for the duration.
"SilverGate Productions brings their 2nd Annual Acoustic Christmas to the Bellevue Pub(. Christmas shot specials, happy hour until 10pm, NO COVER and a $1 Holiday Raffle courtesy of the Music City Elfettes. Raffle proceeds to benefit Project Uplifting Spirits Wounded Warriors Fund. Should you be there? Why of course you should. Clear your calendars because these shows are always full of fun and surprises. Heck, we have sexy elves. Who else has sexy elves?"
We play smack in the middle of this one, and we're going to break out one or two new things that we have yet to perform live.
This is our last show of the year, but we'll be back in electric mode in 2013, with a new EP in tow. (Speaking of which, we should have copies of the two new TGA compilation discs on hand for this event...hot off the presses....so hit one of us up if you wanna get your hands on one of those.)
Ho ho.....and ho,
the great affairs

18 & up.
doors at 7, show starts at 8.
Stripping it down for a couple of hours of acoustic stuff...not sure yet what cast of characters will inhabit the Charlie Bob's stage, but I know it will be me, at least, and that's enough to throw a party, so come on out to the East Side and enjoy some relatively cheap beverages and a whole lot of atmosphere...trust me....it's a time machine.
I'll be opening up for Damon Johnson(Brother Cane/Thin Lizzy), with an acoustic set that should kick off at 7:30 sharp. He'll be doing a set of tunes spanning his entire career, in a stripped-down, "Storytellers"-style environment.
Seating is limited.
Yep, we're gonna tackle a mess of songs from the man himself, Mr. Paul Stanley, as we open up for another one-off tribute, Spades Of Ace, an all Ace Frehley set featuring guys from The Shazam, 100 Watt Opera, and The East Side Gamblers. This will be something to see...and, possibly, hear.
Outdoor stage at Double T's Grand Opening celebration in the Field Shopping Center during Pumpkin Festival...other acts TBA.
I'll be doing an acoustic set...Patrick might join me, and maybe some other special guests.
w/Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Joshua Ketchmark and his band, and the return of 100 Watt Opera.
Patrick & I will be doing a last-minute acoustic set, opening up for our brothers in The East Side Gamblers. We kick off at 9.
I'll be in L.A. for a few days, so I guess I might as well play a show. Other acts TBA. I go on a little before 9PM.
We'll be opening up, followed by acoustic sets from Transcend The Fallen, and For Lack Of Lythium. 21 & up.
I'm not sure yet what our set will consist of, but there will probably be a curve-ball or two thrown.
See you there.
Since we've been out of the live loop for a bit, working in the studio, we figured we'd do a quick mid-week set to test out some of the stuff we've been noodling around with. Anything could make the cut..some covers, a new tune or two...or more...some golden oldies. Whatever the case, it's sure to be an interesting 40 minutes.
w/Crashing Broadway and one more TBA.
Parking Lot party will feature food, drinks and live music from some of Nashville's finest bands and musicians. More details to follow!!!
w/ The Decadence, Man On Earth, & Son Of A Bad Man!

I'll be taking the stage at 9 sharp, and playing until Nicholas Bell tells me to stop, so Jeremy David Baker can take over...might be an hour, might be more, but have your requests handy, as I'll be pulling from the fORMER, Bombshell Crush, Best Of Seven, and The Great Affairs catalogs...and maybe the occasional odd cover or two. I haven't played a hometown show in a while, and I'm sorry it's a Tuesday, but this visit wasn't very well-planned...hope I see a few of you there.
This will be the unveiling of the new lineup for The Great Affairs! We'll be combining material from TGA & fORMER, and souping-up some things, so come prepared for a whole new experience.
Former vs. The Great Affairs
Special guests Billy Carri and Mike Ruocco (Cinder Road)
and verly verly speshool all-Asian band.... RAGIN' ASIAN!!!! Rock and roll sing-a-wrong songs for you.
It's an end of the world party! Make sure you dress up in your vision of the end of the world! Blown-up, Jesus, aliens, zombies, etc.
Not sure yet who we'll be paired up with for this one, but these nights are always off the hook, so I'm just gonna assume it won't matter.
Our first show in Birmingham in over 2 years, and we're back at The Nick, where we've had many LOOOOONG nights.
Also on the bill are Me You Us Them from Brooklyn, NY, and more TBA.
We've missed you, B'ham!

Our first show of the new year, opening up the night, followed by August Christopher, Sideshow Romance, and Sintonik!!!!
We've tweaked the set a bit, and we're chomping at the bit to get back out and play, so don't miss this lineup.
Just Henry & I at this one, slingin' unplugged versions of The Great Affairs & fORMER stuff for 40 minutes. We should go on between 9 and 10 somewhere.
Other acts on the bill are Joe Dunn, Carey Murdock, Josh Phiffer, Brandon Jaehne, & Hello Kelly.
We'll try to make this interesting....in spite of our obvious weight gain and empty pockets, post-Black Friday shopping frenzy. Henry is buying you all Kindles.
w/ Brent Stortzum & TBA
w/August Christopher, Katie Kerkhover & The Die Nasties, Chakras, & Forgotten Fable
2 stages, 1 indoor/1 outdoor. I'll be playing guitar for The Beauty School Dropouts on the outdoor mainstage at 9 sharp. This show is gonna be insane, so prepare accordingly.
fORMER will be doing a special acoustic performance, highlighting some of the deeper cuts from our debut release "...and nothing but the truth.", in a completely different setting. This one is not to be missed.
Other acts on the bill include Jarod Delgado, Ezell, & Breath Of Soul. More TBA.
18 & up, unless accompanied by guardian.
